MEDITATION: How is it life changing?

Meditation does not belong to a certain sect or religion.
I have been to a temple may be 4-5 times in my life. I have observed a day of fasting many times to detox and work on my health and concentration and not for any religious ritual. I have always rebelled against the dos and don’ts of the religious beliefs of my mother. I found most religious dogmas illogical. It was a cause of conflict with the elders during my growing up years.
Yet I embraced meditation and propagate its life changing effect tirelessly.
I was gifted books on meditation, naturopathy, J. Krishnamurti and aura readings by my father. He was always supportive of my queries. He encouraged me to find my own DIVINE. All this was the foundation of the change that was to come.
I came face to face a situation a few years ago when I could not see a solution. The problem was grave, life threatening even and I knew I had to muster enough courage for everyone around me. I surfing the net to find a treatment, what I found was - Heal through meditation and find ANANDA, the eternal joy. I came across a website of Ananda Sangha (http://www.anandaindia.org/), which taught meditation. Then I searched about MEDITATION. I knew I have found the right path and wanted to learn the technique to be able to find strength to face my problems and to be able to find an answer. Before that also I use to meditate but did not have any proper technique to energise.

I had read somewhere that the answer always comes from within, to hear it we must have a quiet inner center. Even when sometimes it is delivered to us by an external source to be able to recognize it we need a strong peaceful inner center. With this knowledge I joined the basic course of two days over that fateful weekend.

I started to practice the technique. I started writing my experiences and it took a form of a small story when I put experiences of others in it. I mailed copies into my circle and it gave me immense pleasure that people wanted to meditate and they also wanted to remove negativity from their thoughts and lives. My suggested method in the book worked for them as well. I had kept a nominal price of 7 Euros for this written material as we tend to take more seriously something that we pay for. But the real benefit was the discussions I had with those who read it often on mail as it was improving and evolving my approach.

I found that higher consciousness is actually inside me and ever ready to guide. This infinite intelligence, I realized was my best friend and I although I was a tiny entity in the universe I had never felt more secure.

Meditation is concentrating on the still center inside us and connect to the infinity. We are in a meditative state sometimes without even realising. While studying, playing, dancing or listening to music when we are not aware of our surroundings, that is a meditative state.
Meditation helps us:
·         Build our confidence.
·         Connect with our intuition.
·         Find the answers.
·         It helps us connect to divine.
·         Stay focused.
·         Heal.
·         De stress.
·         Evolve spiritually.
·         Be peaceful and secure.
If anyone is interested to meditate and has any question please put in a comment and I would happily reply.

As all of the Indians around the world know DIWALI is coming and all these days of NAVRATRAS (9 days dedicated to creative power of DIVINE also called SHAKTI) and 3 days of DIWALI are a good time to remove clutter and bring in health and prosperity into our lives. I would request everyone to read about meditation and special chants for NAVRATRAS and DIWALI and connect to the spiritual energy generated by millions of people during these auspicious days.

Om Aim Hring Kling Chaa-mun-daa-yay Vich-chay
                                                            (Cleanse negativity)

Ya Devi Sarva Bhutesu Shakti rupena samsthita
Namestasyai II Namestasyai II Namestasyai II
Namo Namah II
                                                                     (Brings in positive power)
I was introduced to the DIWALI preparation by my Spiritual Master in Delhi
These two powerful chants to prepare our mind, body, soul and our home to receive blessing this DIWALI. Let’s do the first one for 11 days [21 times everyday]
Then start the second one 21 times everyday for 11 days.
Chants have certain vibrations which echo inside us and infuse positive energy.
HAPPY CHANTING

Next post would also be about meditation.
